I registered for the in-person meeting in The Hague, what will happen with my registration?
The IUGA office will contact all persons registered for the in-person meeting soon to arrange reimbursements and/or transfer registrations to a registration for the virtual meeting.
I have already booked my flight and hotel for September – will I be reimbursed?
IUGA is not responsible for reimbursing you for your flight and/or hotel. We recommend reaching out to the airline and/or hotel directly to cancel/change your reservation and request a refund. Reservations made at the Novotel Den Haag World Forum Hotel via the special IUGA 2020 Novotel Den Haag World Forum Hotel reservation link can be cancelled free of charge via the online reservation system. For hotel reservations made via hotelplanner.com or other reservations sites, we advise you to contact the hotel directly.
What will happen to the program (workshops/lectures/speakers) that has already been scheduled for the 45th Annual Meeting?
The IUGA Program Committee, IUGA staff and the Local Organizers are already exercising their creativity to deliver a Virtual IUGA Annual Meeting that will exceed your expectations! We will ensure that the Virtual IUGA Annual Meeting will contain a lot of the same great content that was originally planned for the meeting in The Hague. More details on the program will be made available on our website as soon as possible.
I submitted an abstract to the 45th Annual Meeting – what will happen to my abstract submission?
All accepted abstracts will stay part of the 45th Annual Meeting program as orginally planned. The IUGA office will reach out to all authors with updated presentation instructions within the next couple of weeks.
I’m an exhibitor – what happens to my application and fees paid to participate in the meeting?
Is the Virtual Meeting accredited?
An application has been made to the EACCME® for CME accreditation of this event.
